Overview
"Am I seriously reincarnated as that complete pushover?!". Cheongha realizes he's been reborn as a side character from a novel he once read - specifically, the hopeless sucker who had an unrequited love for the protagonist and kept giving everything away. With no interest in men and even less desire to be anyone's doormat, Chungha tries to distance himself from the protagonist, Alaister, while avoiding any negative consequences. But things don't go according to plan. He believed that once he resolved the main storyline events, he wouldn't have to be involved anymore. Cheongha assumed Alaister would want the same distance between them. However, events begin to unfold in completely unexpected ways, and to make matters worse, Alaister's attitude toward him starts to change...
Main Characters
Top : Alaister Half-human, half-demon hybrid. Lives in a human village after being taken in by the Archbishop. He actually harbors feelings for Cheongha but has hidden them out of fear that he would be exploited by humans because of their connection. He belatedly realizes that his attempts to protect Cheonggha have only caused him pain. Bottom : Cheongha A member of the Winged Tribe. Born with unique purification abilities not possessed by other members of his tribe. Though he was ready to leave his people behind due to his unrequited love for the human Alaister, he makes a resolution to stop loving him after being repeatedly hurt by Alaister's dismissive attitude.

"Why did you save me?" "Cheong-ha." "If you couldn't take responsibility or accept me anyway, you should have just left me to rot and decay in my egg. I would have been better off dying there than living like this, unable to fit in anywhere." Alaister's brow furrowed deeply at these words, spoken with chilling composure while golden eyes bore into him. "Don't speak so recklessly."
